About TallyBet

TallyBet is an independent casino review site. We read the published terms so you can see the licence, the bonus rules and the stated payout times in one place.

Who we are

TallyBet is a casino review and comparison site at tallybet.co.uk. It launched in October 2026.

We publish full reviews of online casinos, a ranked list of the casinos we have reviewed, and guides that group casinos by a single feature, such as our page on fast withdrawal casinos. At launch the site carries 12 full casino reviews, all listed on our casinos page.

Our aim is simple. Casino terms are long, spread across several pages and often written to be skimmed. We read them, pull out the facts that matter to a player and set them side by side, so you can judge a site before you hand over any money.

What we do and what we don’t do

It helps to be clear about what TallyBet is, because a review site can be mistaken for a casino.

What we do:

  • Research casinos from the information they and others publish
  • Score each casino using the same method and weighting
  • Flag casinos with licences we cannot verify or with records of unpaid withdrawals
  • Link to casinos, some of them through affiliate agreements

What we don’t do:

  • We are not a gambling operator
  • We take no bets and run no games
  • We hold no player money and handle no deposits or withdrawals
  • We cannot resolve disputes between you and a casino, as only the casino and its licensing authority can do that

If you have a problem with an account, a bonus or a withdrawal, contact the casino first, then the body that licenses it.

The team

Our reviews are written under pen names. We say this openly because we think you should know. The names belong to the real people who research, write and check the content, and each has an author page on our authors page.

  • Daniel Hartley, lead reviewer, writes and updates the casino reviews
  • Sophie Marlow, fact-checker, checks each review against the casino’s own terms and the licence registers before it goes live
  • Oliver Reece, payments and guides, covers payment methods and writes our guide pages

Every review is fact-checked by a second person before publication. The illustrated avatars on author pages are drawings, not photos.

How we research and score casinos

All of our research is desk research. We work from published information:

  • The casino’s terms and conditions and bonus terms
  • Its banking and payments pages
  • Licence registers held by the regulators
  • Independent review sites
  • Reports from players

We have not made test deposits or withdrawals. Where a review shows a withdrawal time, it is the time the casino states, not a time recorded by our team. Your own payout may be faster or slower.

The desk score

Each casino gets a desk score out of 10, built from four parts:

Part Weight
Licence and safety 30 per cent
Bonus terms 25 per cent
Stated payout time 25 per cent
Game library 20 per cent

Licence and safety carries the most weight because it decides whether you have anywhere to turn if something goes wrong. Casinos whose licence we cannot verify, or that have a record of unpaid withdrawals, carry a visible warning on their card and review, whatever their score.

The full rules on how we write, check and correct reviews are in our editorial policy.

Independence and how the site is funded

TallyBet is free to read. We pay for it through affiliate commission. When you sign up at a casino through some of our links, and usually when you then deposit, the casino or its affiliate programme may pay us a commission.

Not every casino we review has an agreement with us. Commission never changes a score, a warning or what a review says. No casino pays for a review, and no casino sees or approves a review before it is published.

Our affiliate disclosure explains which links earn us money, how the payments work and what data we receive.

Licensing: what UK readers need to know

Most of the casinos listed on TallyBet are not licensed by the UK Gambling Commission. They hold licences from Curaçao, Anjouan or Tobique, and for some we could not verify any licence at all.

Casinos without a UK Gambling Commission licence must not be used from Great Britain. Each casino card and review shows the licence we found, so check it before you go any further.

This also matters for self-exclusion. GAMSTOP only covers sites licensed by the Gambling Commission, so it does not block most of the casinos on this site. If you want to block gambling sites more widely, blocking software such as Gamban or the gambling block in your banking app can help.

Gambling responsibly

TallyBet is for adults aged 18 and over. Gambling should be something you can afford to lose, not a way to make money.

If gambling is causing you or someone close to you harm, free and confidential help is available:
