Who writes TallyBet
Reviews and guides are written by our authors and fact-checked by a second person before publication: Daniel Hartley (lead reviewer), Sophie Marlow (fact-checker, licensing and terms) and Oliver Reece (payments and uk guides editor). Our authors write under pen names. The illustrations on author pages are drawings, not photographs.
How we research a casino
Each review starts with the casino’s own pages: the welcome offer and its terms, the banking page, the general terms and conditions, and the licence details in the footer. Licences are then looked up on the regulator’s own public register. Where a casino blocks access from our location or a page does not load, we use independent review sites and player reports instead and compare at least two sources.
We have not made test deposits or withdrawals at the casinos we review, and we say so. Withdrawal times on TallyBet are the times a casino states, marked with an asterisk, and we describe separately what players report.
How the desk score works
The desk score out of 10 is built only from published information: licence and safety record (30 per cent), bonus terms (25 per cent), the casino’s stated payout time (25 per cent) and the size of the game library (20 per cent). Casinos whose licence cannot be verified, or that have a record of unpaid withdrawals, carry a warning on their card and review.
How we make money
TallyBet may earn a commission when you sign up at a casino through our links. Commission does not change a score, a warning or what a review says about a casino’s terms.
Updates and corrections
Offers and terms change often. Every review and guide shows the date it was last checked, and we update pages when a casino changes its offer, licence or banking terms. If you spot an error, tell us and we will correct it and update the date.
